Strip off the pretense of the world
Show who you truly are
You are beautiful that way
Writing poetry and short stories to let people take a peek inside my mind. I also do videos, take pictures, and like to cook and share tips on cooking
I wish you could see yourself as I see you
I wish you could look through my eyes
Then you will see just how beautiful you truly are
Live. Laugh. Love.
Live to the fullest each and every day
Hold nothing back
Go for the gusto
Live loud
Live proud
Laugh fully and hardy
Laugh loud and strong
Laugh for the joy of living
Love with filters or restrictions
Love with your whole heart
There she stands at her locker
An Angel within this wasteland of a school
I want to ask her out
Her lockers just across from mine
A few feet
Yet miles apart
Alright now keep your cool
Stay calm
Damn, I'm starting to sweat
Stay calm
Keep your cool
Alright got my nerves up
Got my courage up
Now or never
Full speed ahead
Sang to the tune of "I Love Rock and Roll
I love mountain Dew
I drink it straight from the bottle baby
I love mountain Dew
Pour it on down yes indeed
I need the hot sauce of love
To warm my cold heart
The spicy peppers of passion
To jazz up my life
Them: Is the glass half empty or half full?
Me: picks up the glass, downs the whole things, sets the glass down, and says "There problem solved."
While working in Springfield, one of my coworkers told me this little story.
I met my wife in middle-school, at the time she was very quiet and sat in the back of the room. Not knowing how else to approach her, I learned sign language. I learned enough to start with. So one day after class I went up to her in the hall and signed hello, how are you? She looked me straight in the eyes and spoke with the most beautiful voice I had heard. She said she was fine and told me her name. Then went on to say that she could understand sign language as well as teach it, and that yes, since she is quiet all the time, people do tend to think I can't speak, that is not true as you can tell.
Talk about being embarrassed. However She did thank me for taking the time to learn sign language. I told her that I just started learning it, and she offered to teach me more. After awhile we I got so good at it, her and I would sign to each other from across the hall or classroom, setting up dates or exchanging information.
Well Tony you know how that story ended. So I won't bore you with the details. I told him it was a lovely story.
With each brick in the wall
We become comfortably numb
Hiding away in our own little world
Away for life's turd
Break down the walls
Come back
Yes life hurts sometimes
But moving forward in life
Is better than locking yourself away
Break down the walls
Come back
Live, laugh, love
For that is what life is about
