 There is a new rock group out there named "Blacksmith"  listen as they sing from their forges, singing hit after hit.  Hits like the ever favorite "Feel like making knives" , or the anthem "Hot Metal"; and the ever popular "Anvil Chorus".  Yes folks you can enjoy good music and toe tapping sounds, as the forges ring loud and true

 As I stand at the ocean

As the waves roll in

Watching birds fligh by

As ships run past again

The giggle of laughter

From a child down the beach

The small of BBQ

The feel of sand on my feet

People swimming

San castles built

Boogie boards

Surfboards

People catching waves

As the sun goes down

As the day comes to a close

Much fun was had this day

 In my flower garden

It is silent and still

Accept for a sligh breeze 

Accept for the buzzing of bees

I sit at the table at the end of the path

Glass of tea in one hand

Laptop in the other

I sip tea 

While I write poetry

A day filled with self expression 

A day of emotional highs and lows

A day of typing 

A day sitting at the table

In the center of my flower garden 

Life's journey

 Upon you journey 

Stop to smell the flowers

Enjoy the view 

Take in your surroundings 

You may have

Places to go

People to see

Deadlines to keep

Don't forget the small things 

They are what makes life interesting
