You took my breath away

Though two awkward teenagers we were

I knew what love was

We have remained friends all these years

Conformity

Since Preschool we are taught to conform to the ways of the world

Rules and regulations that strip us of our individuality

Rules that strip us of are true selves

Through the next 12 years of school

More and more is stripped away

More and more is removed

Until we are nothing

Ready to be filled with whatever Bull Shit

They wish to place in us

To make us mindless, obedient drones

Ready to do as we are told

To go about each day in a mind fog

Part of us knowing something is missing

But

Never knowing what it is

Because once the individual is gone

It's gone

Nothing left but the collective

Poetry together

When we share poetry together

We are no mere humans

We are

Gods and goddesses

Kings and queens

Angels and demons

Pouring out our hearts and souls

Revealing our inner selves

For the world before us

Pouring out tears and laughter

Some emotions that can't be described

Getting in touch and sharing our souls

Letting the world see us

Without filters

Without editing

Being true to ourselves and or craft

Being true to the world around us

I wish

I wish I could hold you

And take away your pain

Dry your tears

Let the sun in again

I wish I could kiss you

Taste your lush full lips

Feel the warmth of your breathe

I wish we could cuddle

And hold each other tight

Take away each other's fears

Let each other know things will be alright

I wish I could hold you

When I needed some lifting

Spirit low

Life started drifting

I wish we could sit and watch movies together

Laughing and joking while the show went on

I wish we could just sit and talk

Sharing what was on our minds

I just want her to be happy

Last night I had a dream. A young child was possessed by a demon. Somehow I showed up at the house to preform the exorcism. The first thing I did was walk up to the child, grabbed them by the collar of the shirt, and pulled them forward until our foreheads are touching, then I say in a calm, but commanding voice. " Look deep into my heart, look deep into my soul. You know who I am, and you know who Sent me." Then laying the child's head back on the pillow. I command the demon by all the forces in Heaven and by all the power invested in me to depart from the child. The child's eyes opened as if from a deep sleep, they great their mom and dad. Then turns to me and asks who I am. I tell the child that I am nobody, tell the parents all will be safe. Then walks out the door and down the street
