Man on the street
A former soldier
After his time serving our country
Worked in the shipping department of a large company
Then one day massive layoffs
He and his family got by
Bills kept mounting
With not job prospects in sight
They lost their home
Now surviving on the street
Doing as they must to live each day
Life and death just a flip of the coin
