Take Me Home

The tears fell so softly as I realized I was wrong

My life had been such a mess

Now I’ve been so weak for so long

So I opened the Bible and read what it had for me

The words I read there brought me to my knees

Jesus you’re the one who can help me smooth this out

I know that you can help me of this I have no doubt

I am asking for forgiveness for the wrongs that I have done

I will live my life for you now

Until you come to take me home

The vers that caught my eye was the one that read John 3:16

That God sent his son so the whole world might believe and those that trusted would not die but have eternal life

I knew if I believed that kind of life could be mine
