The Bully

You beat me
You make me bleed
You have even run your bike over me

You find much joy in being a bully
Why
What have I ever done to you

Yet here you are
Pushing me into the mud
Hitting me with a bat
Punching
Kicking

You know I can't beat you
Even though I try
I get a few "licks" in
Then I start crying

You laugh at my tears
You call me names
Why so much joy
From my pain

Bruise after bruise
appear upon me
The blood flows
Yet you continue you assault

You leave me in a heap
As you start upon another
YOU FREAK

Lean on Me

Lean on me
I am your friend
I will stick with you
Till the very end

Lean on me
Use my shoulder to cry on
Find comfort

Lean on me
Let us walk life's road together
Side by side
Going wherever life leads
Taking on adventure

Born Different

He was born different
A freak they say
The others would laugh
Mean games they would play

He could not help the way he was born
Isn't like he had a choice

The "Normal" kids don't care
They just want to stare
Poking fun
Making jokes
Causing tears

May my soul

Water is soft
Yet
It can tear down walls
Destroy mountains
Move objects

May my soul
Be like the water
Soft
Yet
Strong enough
To deal with whatever comes my way

LEAD ME HOME

Lord Jesus I am so confused
As I look for your light through the pouring rain
I’ve been beaten and I’ve been bruised

I’m surrounded by pain
I’m feeling the shame

Lord send me your spirit to free my soul
From the darkness that’s grabbed a hold
Please lead the way

Sometimes I feel I’m wasting my time
I don’t understand the things I do
I’ve done things that were so unkind

Now I’m calling to you
To help me through

Lord send me your spirit to free my soul
From this darkness that’s grabbed a hold
Please lead the way

Come and take me away

Jesus

Jesus is the King of kings
I will let his praises ring
As he guides me upon my way
So that I will not stray
