Genesis 2:17 But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil (law), thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.

1 John 3:4 Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.
