Step by step
I walk life’s road
The Lord guides me upon my way
For this his praise I’ll always raise
Step by step
I make my move
The Lord comes along to
He makes sure I do not stray
Or do not fall into a trap along the way
The Lord makes sure
The path is clear
When challenges come
He draws me near

Here I go
The Lord helps me bear this load
The world has placed upon my back
The slightest courage I do not lack
The Lord helps me to remain strong
