The Announcement (A Nort the Newt story)

Nort the newt and Sally the salamander went to be guests of her brother's cooking show.  They were all having fun cooking up a storm.  Just as the show was drawing to a close Steve the salamander called his girlfriend up on stage.  Upon seeing the young lady Nort blurted out "NATASHA"!  Steve turned to Nort and asked"  You two know each other?  Nort said" She's my sister, but sorry Steve please go on."  Steve continued" Many of you out there know I have been dating this young lady for a while, and that she means everything to me.  The other night I asked if she would marry me And she said yes."  Then turning to Nort he said" Nort you have been my friend for many years I would be happy if you would be my best man."  Nort answered" "I have a joy to share myself." Nort said.  Ten added  "Many of you know that I have been dating Steve's sister for a long time.  She means everything to me. I have asked Sally to marry me and she said yes.  So instead of being your best man.  I can think of no other way to enjoy the happiness of all four of us, than to have a double wedding."  Steve thought that was an awesome idea and let Nort know it by sticking out his hand and saying' it's a deal." After the show ended Nort said" Sally you know that I was adopted when I was little.  That couple had two children a boy named Nathan, and Natasha here."  Natasha said" Hi Nort, it's been awhile, how are you?"  Nort stated" Natasha it is great to she you again after all this time, and it will be great to catch up with each other."  Sally asked Steve "What happened to Samantha?"  "Sis, I told you a while back or at least I thought I did that I caught her cheating on me."  Nort asked "Steve how did you and Natasha meet?"  "She applied to be apart of the crew for the show, and things just progressed over time."  "Will say one thing Nort, she's one awesome cook."  " Is that an invitation to dinner sometime?"  Nort asked "Sure is" Steve said.  "Than it's a date" all four of them said.
