I am lost upon an emotional wave
My thoughts have drifted far away
My spirit is no longer my own
They have floated from this home
No doubt about it I am lost
The emotions hit me from all sides
They try to knock me over
Upon each stride
My mind has gone blank
My emotions have sank
Into a pit of despair
Despair is everywhere
It is thick upon the air
I can not breathe
It chokes me so
This has begun
To
take it’s toll
