Father Questions

I’m a father yes I am

Upon your life how will I stand

How will my teachings reflect upon you

How will you view what I say and do

The questions in my mind have such awesome weight

I hope I never give you cause to look upon me with hate

Will we be friends son and I

Or will you look on and despise

Though I am a father true

I hope I prove to be a good one for you
