As the sun rises on a brand-new day
I remember a time long ago and a place
far away
Where a man entombed in a house of rock
Then one morning a glorious shock
The stone was rolled completely away and
there was no man where once one had layed
A man in white said do not fear for the
one I looked for was not here
Then he turned to me and told me to
listen
He said for you my friend I have a
mission
Rejoice the lord has risen
