Judging Others (Bible Stuby)

Matthew 7:1-6

1“Do not judge, or you too will be judged. 2For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.

3“Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother’s eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye? 4How can you say to your brother, ‘Let me take the speck out of your eye,’ when all the time there is a plank in your own eye? 5You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother’s eye.

6“Do not give dogs what is sacred; do not throw your pearls to pigs. If you do, they may trample them under their feet, and turn and tear you to pieces.
---------------------------------------------------------------

As long as we walk upon this Earth.  None of us is perfect.   So no need to act like we Christian are better  than non-believers because we are not.  Yes Christ is walking in us, to turn us into a new creation.   However that recreation will not end until we reach Heaven's shores.

Now I say this because some people believe,  that once you become a Christian.   You suddenly have a right to become judgemental about everything.   I sorry it does not work that way.  Some people when they become Chrstians, seem to for pet where they came from, and the struggles they had to go through. So they start looking down on those who are struggling as they once had.  This also is wrong.

Went we become Christians,  we must not look down on others, we must not condem those who are struggling.   We must lift up and help them.  They are walking a path ( possibly different  struggles) we once had (and may still be to an extent).  We must use our faith to heal their wounds.  Not make their wounds bigger and possibly driving them away forever
