Every action has an equal and opposit reaction.
This means that everything we do in our day to day living. Has an effect on the world around us. It may be a small thing, but it's true.
At least that's my thought
Also you may know about the ripple effect. Where the action we preform today, sends a shock wave out that affect all that is around us, and supposedly future generations. Some people call it the butterfly effect .
