Flowers grow upon this field
Where so many now lie
They fought so bravely for freedom’s sake
However they had died
They fought so all could be free
They fought for those they loved
Or average people like me
So please honor those now dead
who fought so bravely in the war
I pray their soul’s safe journey
May their spirit soar
If I remember those bravely fallen
Maybe I will not be so troubled with what
goes on today
So please remember those who gave their
lives in full
For without them we would have no freedom
today
