A cold chill surrounds me
Cutting me off
From the outside world

Lost in a
Mental and emotional fog
I hear voices all around
I see faces all around
But they all seem far away

Even in a crowded room
Even with with family members

Like a bubble
Keeps me from joining
A bubble that refuses to be popped

Locked in a room
With walls that reach
High into the sky
People I hear
But can't see
