Lord I pray upon this day
Do not send your people away
We have sinned this I know
With your help we can grow
Into the people you want us to be
We are human and therefore flawed
We scavenge around like hungry dogs
We have committed really bad crimes
I know at times they made you cry
Send us help this I plead
To save the souls of those that be
Let your power flow my Lord
To help undo the darkness of this world
Do not give up and you will see
We can be the people you want us to be
