We must end
the notion that mankind has dominion over the Earth, we do not.
Rather we
have a relationship with Earth, for it is a living entity, and we must learn
its value. What we borrow, we must return. Kill one tree and plant two.
Due to our
mistreatment of our environment it is no wonder we have seen a rise in natural
disasters, scientifically this has been shown to be the case, and there will be
even more deleterious events in the future until we change our perception of
nature.
For
example, it's expected that if we continue on the path of Global Warming that
the entire southern part of Florida and most of the Caribbean will be
completely submerged within 100 years. Similar future tragedies are expected to
happen to Australia, New Zealand, and most of the South Pacific. The amount of
lives that would be lost would be beyond catastrophic.
Some will
tell me I am speaking doomsday scenarios, but I assure you that I am not.
Research recent scientific findings and you'll discover the same data findings
that I and many others have.
The reason
for denying this fact is due to greed and deliberate ignorance. Mankind prefers
choosing corporate and Government wealth over clean air and stable
environmental conditions that we would all greatly benefit from.
This is why
God giving mankind dominion over the Earth was a mistake, we cannot be trusted
to be good stewards to His creation.
