Forgiveness

Lord I come on bended knee

Sorry for what I’ve done

Scared for what I’ve seen

Asking for forgiveness

Asking to be free

Asking for your mercy in the life I lead

Lord I have caused pain and misery

My words have cut like a knife and I have made people bleed

I ask for you to forgive me

I live my life for all to see

To set an example to live

My life is at it’s end

To live your life and begin again

Lord I ask one last time

I ask your wisdom and that’s fine

Lord I praise your name

For the freedom you give today
