I WILL PRAISE

I was being selfish like I’d done before

Thinking of my wants and nothing more

Then a voice inside turned the lights on again

I will praise the Lord till my days end

I learned a hard lesson a long time ago

I wanted it my way and to run the whole show

Then Jesus came and lead me to him

He died upon a cross but know lives again

I was headed down life’s highway on a really bad road

With a trunk full of burdens and towing an oversized load

Then Jesus came to me and showed the road map again

I will sing of his glory and of my love for him

He died on a cross but now lives again

Yeah now that I found Jesus and made him my friend
