I play my guitar

I play my guitar
I play my songs
The music that pours forth
Is an extension of my own soul

When I strum upon the cords
The sound waves move though my
Heart
Soul
Mind
Even my blood stream

Every care
Every worry
Stress
Pain
Grief
Happiness
Joy
Are all summed up in the music I play
All released into the air around me
To bother me no more

I am refreshed when I play
I am energized when I play
Nothing seems to bother me
When I play

Like a giant bubble has enclosed around me
