Alone I sit and think
Alone with the wheels turning in my mind
Alone with the electrified impulses of
the human brain
Thoughts of joy and laughter
Thoughts of envy and hate
Thoughts of love and comfort
Thoughts of sorrow and pain
Alone I am free
Free to think as I will
Free to move as I please
Free to sit completely still
Free to just be me
